L.A. Casting provides an online service for independent performers to host photos and media online for promotional purposes. Performers agree that there is no guarantee for employment by using our service. Performers are not employees of L.A. Casting and understand this is not a "pay for employment" service. Production companies make the final decision on who is hired to work and will be the sole employer.
Production companies seeking talent can use this website to request a quote, schedule an interview, and/or book talent directly. Producers agree that all services are on a best efforts basis.
PRIVACY:
L.A Casting recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of all visitors on the website. Any information collected is voluntarily provided by you. L.A. Casting does not share information with outside parties. By submitting your talent profile to a production, you grant the production the rights to contact you and review or store your photos and information for potential employment.
PASSWORDS:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password to your account. Do not disclose your password to any third party. If you forget your password, click "forgot password" on the login page to retrieve it by entering your email address.
DATABASE:
By creating a profile and uploading your photos to our website, you have voluntarily released your information and images to be placed in our database. All talent profiles are viewable to producers and production companies for casting purposes.
CONTENT:
Talent profiles may not include the following; photographs containing nudity, lewd, obscene, sexually explicit or otherwise objectionable subject matter. We reserve the right to reject, refuse to accept or remove any profile, or to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the web-site at any time, with or without prior notice, and without liability. L.A. Casting may delete any content or text that violates this agreement or which may be offensive, illegal or violate the rights, harm, or threaten the safety of any person. L.A. Casting assumes no responsibility for inappropriate content or conduct. You are responsible for the content that you post on this web-site.
SUBSCRIPTIONS:
Monthly, Quarterly, and Semi-Annual subscription fees are non-refundable. Subscriptions can be canceled prior to your next billing date. All subscription payments are securely made through Stripe™.
L.A. Casting reserves the right to change its subscription plan fees or services at anytime. If your profile is removed from the website because you have breached this agreement or if we have found your conduct to be detrimental, you shall not be entitled to a refund of any unused portion of your subscription.
L.A. Casting may modify this Agreement at anytime. You agree to any changes of this Agreement when you log into the website to use our services after any such modification is posted. It is important that you review these Terms of Use regularly for any changes to the agreement. The Terms of Use will be listed at the bottom of the registration page, login page, and also in your account page.
IN NO EVENT SHALL L.A CASTING, INC. BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
